The Nottingham Four
Written by a member of Oldtown Baptist
Fellowship
The Nottingham Four is a gospel group that started singing in the spring of 1974. The southern
gospel music that they sing is a style that ministers to the soul. The goal of pointing others to Christ is the top
priority for the quartet. They have presented their ministry in churches over much of the eastern seaboard, into Canada,
and missions trips to Wyoming, Chicago, and Wales. The group consists of four-part harmony, piano, bass and rythm guitars
to make complete the southern gospel sound. The ministry of the group is directed at helping local churches through
their music and the preaching of the word of God. Down through the years The Nottingham Four has recorded many projects
with many of the songs written by group members. The blend of the songs, harmony and the never ending desire to do God's
will, makes for a good time of praising God when the quartet lifts their voices in worship to the Lord Jesus Christ.
